2014年著眼于服務國家“一帶一路”戰略,鐵總加快構建中歐鐵路大通道,全年共開行中歐班列308列,發送集裝箱26070標準箱,較上年同期多開228列,增長285%,促進了中歐沿線各國間經貿交流發展。

鐵總表示,去年鐵路部門結合深化貨運組織改革,進一步優化中歐班列運輸組織,提高鐵路國際聯運服務質量。按照日行1000公里、全程運輸時間在12天左右的要求,安排了西中東三個方向的中歐班列通道,其中西部通道經阿拉山口(霍爾果斯)出境,中部通道經二連浩特出境,東部通道經滿洲里出境。在2014年下半年運行圖調整中,將中歐班列運行線由7條增加到19條,為不斷增長的中歐班列運輸需求提供了充足的運力保障。

此外,鐵路部門不斷推動與中歐班列沿線各國鐵路合作。加強與俄羅斯、哈薩克斯坦等國家鐵路的溝通磋商,在推進建立中歐班列協調機制、編制統一運行圖等方面達成共識,在運輸郵政包裹、組織回程班列等方面取得成果。成功組織了中哈間集裝箱運輸國際郵包的試運工作,為中歐間迅速發展的電商貿易和郵包運輸進行了有益探索。成功組織了中歐班列保溫箱運輸,解決了高端電子產品冬季鐵路運輸的技術難題。

鐵總表示,2015年,將進一步完善中歐班列境外經營網絡,提高服務組織能力;強化境外集裝箱分撥和轉運能力,延伸服務鏈條,提供國際“門到門”服務;以進口汽車、機械設備、化工品、農副產品等為重點,開發回程貨源,降低全程物流成本。（中國進出口網）

The cooperation said, in 2015, the EU-China trains overseas business networks of China-EU railway and service organizational capacity would be further improved; the distribution and transport capacity of overseas container would be strengthened, and service chain would be extended; the international "door to door" service would be provided; they would focus on imported cars, machinery and equipment, chemicals and agricultural products, in order to develop the return supply of China-EU railway and reduce logistics costs.
