日前，“中英中小企業投資與貿易洽談會”在英國曼徹斯特成功舉行。此次活動由中國銀行與英國貿易投資總署共同主辦，200余家中英企業開展了近300場次現場“一對一”對接活動和18場次遠程視頻交流。

據介紹，參與此次洽談會的企業集中在食品飲料、醫療設備、高精尖制造業與可再生能源等產業領域。兩國中小企業在市場、產業、技術、資本等方面均有較高互補性，合作潛力巨大。此次洽談會成功率達70%以上。與此同時，兩國企業還圍繞中國“一帶一路”倡議、英國基礎設施升級投資計劃和“英格蘭北方經濟中心”等規劃，表達了開展合作的濃厚興趣。


英國貿易與投資總署中國區總裁查爾頓表示，中國銀行舉辦的此次洽談會為兩國中小企業合作搭建了橋梁。中英中小企業合作對兩國經濟的可持續發展和就業具有深遠影響。英國將繼續把握歷史機遇，分享中國經濟發展的碩果。（中國進出口網）

Recently, the "Sino-British SME Investment and Trade Fair" was held in Manchester, England. The event was organized by the Bank of China and UK Trade & Investment General Administration, more than 200 Chinese and British enterprises participated and carried out nearly 300 one-to-one docking activities and 18 remote video communication.

According to reports, these enterprises are concentrated in the field of food and beverage, medical equipment, sophisticated manufacturing and renewable energy and other industries. SMEs in the two countries  have higher complementarity and great potential for cooperation in terms of market, industry, technology, capital, etc. The success rate of the fair was over 70%. At the same time, the two companies also focus on China "one belt one road" initiative, the British infrastructure investment updating programs, and "England's northern economic center" plan, and expressed keen interest in cooperation.

President of UK Trade and Investment Department China, Charlton said the talks held by the Bank of China built a bridge for bilateral cooperation for SMEs. The SME cooperation has a profound impact on sustainable development and employment of the two economies. Britain would continue to seize the historic opportunity to share the fruits of China's economic development.
