首先對于出口企業來說，由于許多訂單都是以美元計價，因此自人民幣匯改以來，人民幣升值逐漸侵蝕著企業的利潤水平。如果人民幣兌美元進行貶值通道之后，這將會對企業的業績產生積極的作用。同時人民幣兌美元匯率走低，也會大大增加企業自身的競爭實力。

對于進口企業來說，人民幣貶值很明顯在一定程度上提高了相應的進口成本。為了減少相應的損失，建議進口企業可以做一些相應的衍生產品加以規避匯率波動。

海關總署8月8日公布的數據顯示，今年前7個月，中國進出口總值13.63萬億元人民幣，比去年同期下降7.3%。其中，出口7.75萬億元，微降0.9%；進口5.88萬億元，下降14.6%；貿易順差1.87萬億元，擴大1倍。

當時就有學者認為，過去的幾個季度，因為人民幣對美元匯率保持穩定，而美元持續強勢，其他外貿大國貨幣普遍貶值，這在一定程度上拖累了中國的出口表現。

除人民幣，土耳其里拉也出現了貶值狀況，近日，國內一鍋爐廠負責人稱，原本正在商談的鍋爐出口事宜因里拉兌歐元貶值近20%慘淡收場，土耳其方面采購商決定采購本國生產的產品，因中國產品不再具有價格優勢。（中國進出口網）
